Dead Head?

A few weeks ago I accidently hit one of the heads on my frogspawn,while moving some stuff around in the tank. Since then the head has completely receded,all I see is skeleton.Is it possible for it to regenerate or is it a dead head?

From what I read no it will not grow back but I did read one thread were a guy said one of his heads grew back.I had a 4 head frogspawn that withered away in a matter of days and never grew back,its been over a month now.

It has about 7 heads on it, only 1 appears dead the others look fine.So no chance of it coming back eh?

ive had them recede all the way around the outside so that the flesh was only on the center of the skeleton and the flesh eventually grew back over the exposed skeleton. but if it has receded back really bad i would say chances of regrowth are slim to none.

If there are no signs of flesh, it most likely will not grow back. If you can still see some flesh, give it some time to recover. When I bought a frogspawn, one of the heads was nearly withered away, but there was a little flesh left. It took about 2 weeks to recover and is now full.
