Dead Sea Works Magnesium choride hexahydrate

Thanks Jason:)

If anyone sees the mag stuff, let me know.

On their website it says minimum delvery is 22 tons :eek2: :eek2:

I guess its esv for now. I feel like I'm getting ripped off.

Perhaps I should go and scoop some off one of these salt shakers that I see on the road.

I am looking too. The stuff from buckeye is almost as bad a rippoff but what ya going to do. I am going to have my brother inlaw check in Detroit he found me some Peladow there. I'll keep ya posted.

Well according to Randy's calculator the liquid esv will go about half as far as the other stuff. The esv costs $22 per gal. The mag costs $14.25 per gal(if I buy 4). This is with shipping. Still a much better deal.

But one would have to think that at the home depot or somthing it would be much cheeper, but like you said 'what are ya gonna do'.

I need somthing, my mg levels tested out at 1100ppm. My coaraline algae isn't growing. The funny thing is when I gave my stream pumps a bath yesterday, there were no ca deposits, and none on my heaters either. My alk tested out at 4.1meq. So my calcium must be low or its because my ph is low. I have a funny feeling that my tropic marine has low mg. I will have to test it next time I mix up a batch.

I've been meaning to stop and do some research for you, I just got a little busy. If you can be patient, I'll check for you.

I don't know if you saw, but I bought MAG supplement and a test kit. My Mag is where it should be, because the Calcium additive I've been using, also maintains MG. SO... I have a gallon of liquid and a quart of dry... looking to sell.

Thw only mag chloride I've found at HD is from GSL not dead sea. They're likely to use one or the other, not both suppliers.
