Dead Snails

Hello All,
I have a 125 with a hippo and yellow tangs, a pair of Percs, a lawnmower blenny and a condi anemone. I have about 150lbs of live rock and a couple of koralia's to move the water around. Everything is happy and healthy and has been in there over 6 months. I have bought 6 or 8 big snails (generally 2 at a time) and they all seem to die. I'm not sure what is killing them or if they are just near the end of their life because of the size but they always end up on the sand with crabs picking them apart. I generally just let the crabs pick them clean and leave the shells but it's starting to look like a snail graveyard. Any ideas on what may be killing them? or should I just buy smaller snails?
Thanks in advance for any ideas.

I also had a problem with turbo snails. Are those the snails you had? I was told by John at www.reefcleaners.org that turbo snails had a very specific diet which my tank couldn't supply. Don't know if you had turbos or not-but I have a snail graveyard, too.
