Went and sat down to my tank, no flow. Nothing is coming out of the Tunze 6000s, and all lights on the multicontroller are off as if the pumps arent plugged in. But both pumps are plugged in.

Took a look at my impeller - it looks like to newer unit in the FAQ... but I dont see any of those removable pieces. The only thing I could pull off was the blades. Everything else seems to be one unit. I dont see any o-ring or plastic collars. So I'm not sure if this is a cleaning issue. The driver alarms have been going off prior to this. I cleaned the pumps by soaking in vinegar and the driver alarms continued. Just tried soaking the impellers again, still nothing. Sometimes the multicontroller has lights on, indicating pumps are on, but they arent, and sometimes the multicontroller is completely off.

Yes those are the newer impellers "one piece" impellers. When fully apare you should have this

The part on the right is at the top of the impeller well attached to the pump. The parts on the left are behind the impeller in the well and can be removed with a long screw or nail thru the central hole. I often use a phillips screwdriver as usually is handy

Both pumps are alarming?.... Will either pump run without the controller?

Try the pumps without connection to the controller. The issue would be with the pumps as they power the controller. They might have burned out the drivers or transformers so no power is going to the multicontroller.

Alright, an update.

I did indeed find the extra parts in the impeller well, pried them out and soaked them in vinegar and cleaned everything up (for the third time).

Reassembled... still nothing. Tried powering the pumps without the controller - one pump when plugged in tried to do something, and I could feel a faint vibration when plugged in, but I could not get it to push water. The other did nothing. Tried switching the power supplies and then both did nothing.

Please send it in, I probably can't repair it, but I will make you a very fair offer to upgrade to a current model if I cannot.

Sent it today. Return address is on the box, it will be Mike Meyer in NC. I'd really prefer a repair or to otherwise spend as little money as possible... the setup certainly wasn't cheap...
