I think a fish died, i havn't seen him. The bad news is he could be anywhere in all of the caves i have. plus I am in the middle of an algae battle. what can i do to stop the algae while i tear apart the rocks.

nothing, but i think finding the fish is more inportant now, a litle algae, or alot more dead fish and corals and inverts and bad water, adna whole tank crash

That's not necessarily true. It depends entirely on the size of the fish, the number of inverts present (bristleworms, crabs, and the like), and the size of the tank.

Being as his tank is a 75, if he has sufficient janitors, a small fish like a goby or firefish could be gone in hours. I mean eaten-gone... recycled, if you will. If it was something as large as, say, a dwarf angel, then there might be a chemical spike.

So, fish-freek-3000, what kind of fish was it?
