hehehe.. actually roy, the swear filter edited out '****' from peacock and replaced it with 'shank' .. i fixed the swear filter, but left the funny name in my sig.. just for jokes.

That would be awesome. My brother has had a sort of fascination with these things since I first started keeping a reef tank and I would love to show him their destructive potential.

So who won? Im guessing the mantis eventually was the victor? Was pretty cool seeing that crayfish actually hold its ground against the mantis!

mantis won.

my mantis never dissapoints... sometimes i'll feed it a large crayfish nearly its own size, and worry that it might get hurt.. but out comes my mantis, and proves that its raptorial appendages are superior to any set of claws... ive seen crayfish grab a hold of his leg, but a few cracks to its head and it lets go.. then a few more cracks, and KO.

Sometimes it just destroys and goes back to its lair, leaving the crayfish.
