hey everyone... sounds like we're meeting at my place on the 18th... it'll be lots of fun... anyone is welcome at any time...

doors are open at 12 noon... for those of you who like to sit around and talk reef stuff over a cup of coffee... educational class is at 2:00... official business meeting at 4:00... gift exchange to follow the meeting.

zef... if youre coming... i though it might be cool for you to give a detailed class on the advantages and use of a light meter... if the club hasnt already had one... or... you guys can post on a topic youd like to learn and discuss... and ill work on that...

its kinda late notice... so i though this meeting we could simply throw together a Christmas gift exchange... everying coming... bring a frag or something reef related... valued not more than 10$ and we'll draw for gifts....

in addition... Bill and i have a few things for door prizes... maybe even a choice frag from my system. and a spotted manderin. (or two) ;)

in any case... it will be lots of fun... and we really look forward to seeing you all again...

I am planning on attending. My sister talked so much about your tank when I missed the last time at your house. Can't wait to see it.

Sorry won't be able to make this one. I took last Saturday off to go to cincy fragswap. To get some nice vendors to come to our swap and hobbyist too. So I won't be able to get this day off.

Cool... Sounds like we're going to have a great turn out again... Looking forward to seeing you all and meeting the folks who couldn't make it last time ;)

If you have not been to Mel's, you are in for a treat. He and his wife have a beautiful tank. And a wonderful setup.

Well if no one from the BOD is going to make this meeting the Official part will be no more than possibly showing a copy of the floor plan for the Swap. Zef has informed me that he may be able to get me a copy of it by the meeting.
If not and there is no official part i may be able to do some educational demo's on different equipment set up or maybe some Fragging and proper way's of mounting them. Or some kind of request type things if they are possible to do.
One that comes to mind is the proper way to inspect and dip your new additions before adding them to your display as to avoid Pest like Red Bugs/Flatworms and look for their eggs.
Any Ideas are welcome and I'm sure we will have a great time again!
Bill
PS Justin if you plan to attend and have other things planned just LMK?

I think the past controller would be best for everyone. With next month being the swap and everyone will putting in new corals in there tanks. Don't risk it dip it. Lol

too and remind me this time... i know a few of you wanted some chaeto last time.. but noone took any... please remind me this time if ya want some... i need to get rid of some...

if you havent already replied to this post... please jump in if youre going to attend this weekend... momma is finalizing the food... and a quick reminder... to bring youre "secret santa" gift... seems that frags are popular from talking to a few of you... but anything reef related is cool.... we're really looking forward to seeing you all here saturday!!! :-D

I picked up some of that this past week in Atlanta. $23 for a tiny bottle. dipped a coral in it I am having issues with. it did knock some pods off that were on it.

Did you leave the coral in the solution for the full 15 min as some of those FW are tough and won't come off right away.
