We have a host for the meeting. Thanks Dana.
What -- ETRC December meeting -- mostly a Christmas party
When -- December 10th at 6pm - 'til Dana and Richard run you off.
Address -- 9700 Tunbridge Lane, Knoxville TN, 37922. Yep, on the West side. "Tun" not Turn" Seven Oaks Subdivision West entrance.
Food to bring "“ snack items, dips, chips, fruit, veggies, desserts, (I will bring something for me without cheese, Ha!):bounce3::bounce2::bounce3:
I will talk to the BOD about the club buying some chicken fingers/nuggets/wings trays.
Dana and Richard are in the process of remodeling, so bring your hammer and paint brush. (just kidding about the tools). Her tank has not had the attention that she normally gives, but I am sure it will get lots of interest.
So, far:
Gift exhange:
Bring something fish/coral related that 1) you no longer use and are willing to give away, 2) that still "works", and 3) that is not very expensive.
Games:
Some fun, silly, group games. Everyone will have fun. I mean, since I am looking for something fun for me (the preferable lump on a frog), everybody will have a chance to have fun. :bounce2::bounce3::bounce2:
NO kids this time, folks. The games will not be for adults and kids. Well, except for me and Janie, cause we will get to play? Ha!

jeez, i almost forgot how to post! its been a while.
yeah, the tank has had zero attention since august. in fact we just moved it from the old house last weekend. we had been going to the old house twice a week to throw a bucket of tap water in it and feed the fish, and when i tore it down, it was the best it had ever looked! no kidding.
i've not set it back up yet. actually having power run to where it will be today. i just kind of have everything throw in the old 55 to keep heat on it til i can get the 90 up and running again.
BUT, the new house has a full sized pub, complete with booth seating, so the bar will be open. maybe that will make up for the lack of an interesting tank to look at.
y'all wanna do mel's ornament exchange like we used to? that's always fun.

Ok. I'll be there but I have to leave at 8. I promise to be super on time. I completely forgot that I said I would go to my other friend's party that night!
I will be there before 6:30. I think I'm bringing a dessert since I won't be perfectly on time but I could bring wasabi deviled eggs if you'd prefer.

I think the ornament thing may be hard for some folks to do at this last minute. That is why I thought the old fish equipment exchange might work better. We can do both but several may not be able to participate. My vote is for the equipment only. But, we can do both. How about this, since we said we would, do both if anybody brings the items.

we're now right across the street from big lots and Carolina pottery...they've got tons of ornaments! its really weird being so close to everything.
you're going to have to excuse the mess here. we just found out we have a showing at the old house saturday so we're going to have to head up there for some clean-up too.
