I recently was practically given an acrylic tank. It is about 20 gal, with the rear area (dont know what to call it) for the overflow, bioballs, and return. In addition it has been drilled to be a sump, but in such a way that it has plugs in it and can easily be used either way as a sump or as a regular tank. I dont see pictures online anywhere that exactly look like it, but its the kind that has no frame or top. It has a lip on the top all the way around and a black back wall. A few scratchs but overall good condition.
So here is the thing.....I could not use my skimmer with it (hob via aqua multi skimmer). I am trying to decide on staying with my 20gal long or setting this one up. I dont really have the money to spend on the new skimmer and figured to trade the tank for frags....since I have such a small tank, someone who would use this for a sump or a second tank would probably not even miss the amount that I would be happy with.
BUT the acrylic tank is aweful fancy looking......grrrrrr
