Decompressing fish?

Hi All

I am planning on going on a dive with one of my technical diver friends. We will be doing a dive between 25 - 55m. What I wanted to find out is if I am down there and looking to bring up a fish, what is the best way and time to decompress him?

I have read on saltaquarium.about that depending on depth a decompression time of 6 feet every 20 minutes is acceptable.

At 60m I know its going to take ages to bring a fish up but I am more interested in fish at the 25-30m mark. Will bringing the fish up 6 feet every 20 minutes be acceptable? If not what is a suitable time and method?

Oh yes and I am NOT considering needling a fish!

not sure how many divers/collectors there are in here but I know there are a bunch in there...within reefcentral...further down the main forum page...

I can't say about fish from 60m, but I know that deep collectors actually "plant" the fish in their containers at increasingly shallow depths over a few days.

Yeah I know the deep sea guys it takes them like 3 - 4 days to bring fish up from that depth. There is not that much information on the net though on how to decompress a fish.
