decorator crab eating bubble tip nem?!?!

hello,

i just looked at my cube, and saw the decorator crab pinching a small bta. it has it pinched with a couple claws. i haven't seen it tear a piece off, but i'm not really liking what i see....

do decorator crabs eat nems? i don't care so much about this bta, but i'm looking for a carpet nem to go in there. i would be seriuosly bummed if it messed with the up and coming gig.

thoughts???

p.s. on the bright side, that's the best pic i have gotten of the crab. lol

the crab is in time out in the sump at the moment. i will let it back out in a week or so and see if it plays nice. lol

you might be right about the crab being eaten by a gig. i'm still looking, but haven't found a nice gig yet anyway. hopefully with time....

He's most likely trying to add a couple tentacles to his disguise. One of mine would pull tentacles off a large frogspawn and stick them on his back.
