anybody have any experiances with these? i thinking of getting one I have read they are ok for the reef, I have a 55g mixed reef no zoas as of now i know they like to use em i have some big buttons but i think thay are too big for the crab anyway.

i have had alot of these in my tanks over the years and i never had any problems with them. th only downfall to having 1 in your tank is they like to stick anything and everything on there back. i had one of them that completely covered himself with zoanthids and it was actualy really cool to see a small colony of zoas walking around the tank

i would have to say they are reef safe beyond that. they do get big though and you should always remember that crabs can and sometimes will eat things you dont want them too. but that always the chance you take when you decide to keep crabs.

ya i decided against it thay are cool but ive heard people say that they ate there mushrooms, and after i had to get a sally lightfoot crab out that was eating shrimp and fish i dont want to go through that again.

I have a decorator crab in my 22g at the moment -- he may be evicted shortly. My red mushrooms have been looking really stressed and I caught the bugger picking at them TWICE. I let the first time go, thinking there might have been food stuck near them or that he was just being opportunistic. I moved the shrooms to my other tank to let them relax while I contemplate the fate of Christopher Lowell.
