Tank arrived today..

Picking up sand and HOB filter in the AM..

Got the "stand" built..
Just a platform to sit it on, there will be a piece of tile over the large opening, tank will sit on that. Light bracket will bolt up behind that..

Got everything made for the light bracket, got home and crashed, might finish in the AM..
Decided to go with the Kessil 160 I already have for the lighting..

Might need to use a smaller HOB filter, will find out this afternoon.
Going to pick up some SW , and sand this afternoon when LFS opens..

No plans for fish (unless lfs has a really tiny clown)..
1 fire shrimp, 1 or two snails..
I have a few frags I want to move from my big tank into this where I can actually see them..
Getting ready to ride to lfs to see what frags will catch my eye...

Well LFS had a sale this weekend, everything was picked over by the time i got there..
They had alot of really nice colonies, but they are to big to go in this..
Bought :
2 5 gallon jugs of Red Sea Pro
1 Fire Shrimp
2 Margarita snails
1 Zoa frag
The rocks
and a bottle of Tigger-Pods (to split between this one and my big tank)

Well i updated the software on my par meter and bricked it..:deadhorse:
So i have the color turned all the way down, and the intensity as low as it will go..
Need to get another piece of the 80/20 and raise the Kessil up a few inches..

Leftovers from work.. It can be ordered from Amazon though, its called 80/20.

It's not to pricey, but the fittings and fasteners can add up..

I am ordering a 12x12x12 to replace this with.. I need a little more room for the coral I have in mind..lol
Still gonna keep it small for a while , so I can take my time on the 40 I am working on...
It has worked out a lot better than I thought it would, as far as keeping coral healthy..

Well, changed my mind on the 12"x12"x12"..
Picked up a 20g long and a really nice rock.
Going to move some of the coral to that , center up the larger rock in the pico and try my hand at some sticks...
Time to build another stand and light bracket
