Deep Blue Professional EDGE 57 Rimless Build

Well i decided that my JBJ-30rl was not big enough and got a great deal on EDGE 57 gallon Rimless tank. It comes with overflow and return. I was going to buy stand but did not like the huge center brace so made my own here are some pics.


Here are pics of my standI have started. my plan is to have a shelf for my equipment, This stand is 42 inches tall measurements are 36 x 18 x 42''. i am going to wrap the stand with plywood and paint black. the inside will prime and paint with rubber water proof paint that will serve as vibration and water protection all at once.






Here is a pic of my sump. Its a Trigger Systems Ruby 30, the size is 30 x 14 x 15''. Total water volume is 25 gallons but operating volume is 18.1 gallons. It comes with 2 filter socks and probe holders.

Thanks....for lighting I am using the Kessil A360WE 90w, skimmer I just got Reef Octopus 110, return pump Eheim 1200, and for sump Trigger Systems Ruby 30, for water movement will use my Ecotech MP10WES.

I think you need more bracing! :lol:

Are you sure you can get that sump through the door with out running into the back wall? Also most stand manufactures leave the back open so everything can breath. Do you plan to ventilate it somehow?

Yeah I can put one side in first then it fits. I am planning on making 4 inch holes on top corners and installing 2 cooling fans.
