Deflated open brain

My usually large and inflated open brain has redused to the sizy of its skeleton for 2 days now. All params are good though I did push th Alk to 12dkh last week. Could this have caused it. All other LPS are fine

Do you feed? Same thing happened to me when I stopped feeding him. Cyclopeeze and coral vibrance slurry once per week. Works great. He bounced back in 1 or 2 once I started to feed again.

I feed my brain every 3 days with a piece of silverside soaked in coral vitamins.

Do you guys have to do anything in particular to get the feeding tentacles to come out? Dose the tank with amino acids or anything and feed an hour later? Lately my lobo has been deflated also, and I barely ever see his feeding tentacles. I'm getting a little worried....

honestly, if the brain is healthy and wants to eat there is no need for its tentacles to be out. if you turn your pumps off and put the food on top of the brain it should eat it, if it wants too/its hungry. if this is the case then usually you won't see tentacles till after it eats.

What was your Alk at before? IME LPS prefer ALK in the 9-10 range
