deionized water in the aquarium

hey guys and girls,
my marine aquarium is run on deionized(di) water only.
just added salt and in it went all 40 gallons.
ph/nitrate/nitrite/amonia levels always read good ,
fish thrive so do anemone's and striped mushrooms.
algae has never been a problem .
my tank has been going for about 3 years and seems fine all this time.
i want to know are there any benifits in using di water instead of using r.o water.
should be interesting to see the results .

Most people using reverse osmosis also have a deionizing resin on it. So they have DI water. A few use Ro only, but that is not as good, IMO.
