I'm setting up a larger tank, considering the deltec ap902 or the Bubble King 250 deluxe.
I'm looking for a set and forget skimmer and willing to pay the cash to get it.
I've used aqua-c/bubble master and . not completely happy with either of them.
I understand that equipment needs to be taken care of, however, I don't want to have to fiddle with water height, pump seizing up after power outtage, dimished product due to mesh wheel, taking apart and cleaning calcium out of pump every 3 months... etc etc.

The set-up will be between 300-350 gals, and looking to stock heavy.

i've heard all good about the deltec, but haven't heard anything about the BK. Or if anyone can recommend one can do the job of these, no nonsense, without the prime pricetag, lemme know

Any help if appreciated.

I have a bubbleking deluxe 300 external for my 470 gallon tank and it is absolutely amazing. It took a little bit to find the sweet spot (that is true of all skimmers) but once it did it is blowing me away. I went from a Euro-reef RC-750 to this skimmer (the ER was too loud). The Euro-Reef was a great skimmer and I was hoping that this one would be similar but I was a little concerned since the Euro-reef was a far bigger skimmer. The BK is a truly amazing skimmer.

Now that it is set I really don't do anything to it. I drain the cup every 2-3 days and wipe clean the riser tube at the same time. Every once in a while I will remove the cup for a full cleaning.

This is a great skimmer.

It is deadly silent. My Tunze streams make more noise then this thing!
