I'm selling my Deltec EcoCooler Ec-420-4 which was only used for less than 20 minutes. As soon as it arrived from Deltec, I could see it was physically to large for my small pump room but I wanted to see it work before I had to pull it out of service so it is just shy of being brand new. The unit works great and in the 20 or so minutes I had it running, I could see how effective this evaporative cooler really is. I never glued any of the plumbing so it's ready to be installed. More detailed information about this great evaporative Eco Cooler is located on the Deltec website including the $1,973.00 current sales price. I'm offering my practically new Eco Cooler EC-420-4 for only $1,500.00. It is complete as shipped from Deltec. Buyer assumes shipping and insurance (my out of pocket expenses). I am located outside the San Francisco Bay Area for local pickup if you're able to drive to my house in Pleasanton, California.

I have detailed photographs to email to the interested buyer. I don't have a hosting photo website to use so I couldn't link them to RC.

Eco Coolers consume far less electricity than chillers and are very efficient at using evaporation to efficiently bring down the temperature of the aquarium. Control of all or individual fans can be controlled by any aquarium controller like those sold by Neptune Systems.

Thanks,
Bill

Hi Steve,

The efficient removal of accumulated heat in a tank is everyone's problem and isn't the subject to one particular forum. As you know we've all discussed what excess heat can do to our corals and removal of it through efficient evaporation like my evaporative cooler vs the high expense of a chiller is something that concerns all of us. I happen to run a large reef tank (600 gallons in my case) and it might be of interest to some of you to consider buying my Eco Cooler for less than a new one.

No, youre in the wrong forum because you cant sell in this forum. I personally dont care, its not my place.

Thanks for the link Joe and the reminder guys. I forgot that this was the wrong place to post an item I had that I thought this group would be interested in. I'm in this forum alot having a large reeftank myself (600) and I never find myself in the other areas. I sure won't do that again! I've never tried to sell anything on RC so it's been a long time since I read the RC instructions when I became a member. My apologies to RC and the group.
