Deltec in UK

I am going to UK this summer. Has anyone tried to convert a UK Deltec for use in US? I am thinking of the 1060S or AP1003.

from what i am told they do not run very well even with the power converted.. one person in the deltec forum had one and it only ran for a year or so and then the pumps gave out.. and if you have a problem with the deltec you have to get your parts fromthe UK ad Deltec USA does not replace any parts to Euro skimmers.

Believe me i though about that as well...

i am sure chuck will chime in here soon...
