Demmel's 180gallon SPS tank :)

bit of an update:

got 5 female lyretails, theyre so small maybe 1 inch, that's a big maybe
got 1 male lyretail anthia who is bigger around 3 inches so none of the females challenge him
I also got an emporer angelfish, who knock on wood is behaving.

some of my rocks collapsed last night so I had to redo my aquascape on the right side. I will post some pictures of the fish and updated aquascape tonight hopefully.

I am really considering adding a emperor angelfish, please keep my updated on how it does.

I will, so far he has just been picking at random stuff on the rocks and doesn't seem to be going after the SPS at all, I think most of the concern is for LPS and calms, etc. I have seen multiple very nice SPS tanks on here that have emperors and I am sure you have too.

wow just noticed I have not posted in here in a long time. my tank has been doing great and growth has been good (knock on wood) I took all the corals off the rock which was a huge pain in the ***. I will also suggest to everyone to use plugs in case you move or move your aqauscape.

I am moving in a month which is why I decided to take all the corals off my rocks and put them on new plugs because I am going to do a completely new rockwork.

My aquascape in my tank right now is awful, I just wanted to make sure I have enough space for my frags on their plugs before I move and put my final aquascape in place. I will post some pictures tonight.

Here are some pictures from 2 weeks ago :) again this are shot from my Iphone so I am sorry for the horrible quality

Looks like it's starting to take off. Great tank!

Thanks!!

It has been doing great over the past couple weeks, hopefully that continues. I am assuming I will suffer some setback when I move everything in a month but hopefully thatll only take a couple weeks to recover.

Very nice and great new scape. would you mind sharing your light schedule?

Thanks!!

I run just my 2 reef brites for 1 hour at 11am till noon
