Dendro spiting out babies

I got this dendro on February and it's having babies!! If I can only make it open during the day

Now picture tanken on the 8th

Hey There, start feeding it cyclopeez when you turn the lights on. That will train it to come out during the day for a little bit. Hope this helps. Al

Update on the babies, 13 days later

what do you feed your dendro? i feed my tank mysis, the dried cyclopeeze, ora glow and the bta gets a silverside. i 'spot dose' kents invert formula once a week.

mine is sprouting a baby, but i dont know if its because of stress or happiness

I've been doing home made food that consits on: squid, shrimp, scallops, mussels, formula 1, 2, selcom, flake food, cyclopezze, quite nasty I feed it every 3 to 4 days. most of the time only gets shrimp thou.

Start feeding it daily at the same time each day. In a few days it will start to come out all the time. Just spray some food on it with a turkey baster till it starts to come out. Then in a week or so it will be out all the time.

Also a bit more flow IME tends to get them to come out during the day.. Mine stay open all day long.

I'm going to try this with cyclopezze, mine has enough flow throug it but only comes out at night.

Started with 3 adult polyps about 1 year ago. Starting producing 5 new babies in about 1 month after receiving it. The dendro has not produce new heads since that time. Could be that I no longer feed it daily or make that weekly.

Update picture babies seems to be growing well. It's getting hard to feed it, fish keeps coming and stilling the food. This is a picture at night, still not opening during the day time.

Looking good. Mine is not getting any babies yet. I can't wail till it does. But me roes duncan has babies coming out the ying yang.

How often are you guys feeding them? I was feeding mine every couple days, but it got old, I feed it every week now if I remember.
My roes duncan is out of control, waiting for my ORA to start having babies.

I feed mine a few times a week.. pellet food is easy to feed them.. formula one pellet then once a week I load them up w/ a mix of shrimp, mysis, and rods food.
