Dendro???

Needless to say, I'm a newbie.

Got this piece at the LFS for $20. Salesperson said it was dendrophyllia. Can someone please tell me if it's true. $20 for seemed too cheap even for a half dead colony; Maybe I'm wrong.

i would cut it up .it is receeding but i have seen that get recovered in weeks with good feedings.cut the best pieces and glue them to a rock and discard the crappy ones they will grow new heads in no tim.they grow very fast when fed and healthy.veryfast thats the problem people have they get so many heAds you pollute you tank just to feed them.i took one head of dying black coral to many colonies in no time at all

Dendro???

Thanks for the reply, need to get some fragging tools.

Update....

Began feeding in my graduated basin before I feed the fish (i.e Reef Chili and Mysis). Looks like they are slowly coming out!!
