Got this piece at the LFS for $20. Salesperson said it was dendrophyllia. Can someone please tell me if it's true. $20 for seemed too cheap even for a half dead colony; Maybe I'm wrong.
Its a tubastrea, probely faulkneri.
Its gone need a lot of love and care(food)

i would cut it up .it is receeding but i have seen that get recovered in weeks with good feedings.cut the best pieces and glue them to a rock and discard the crappy ones they will grow new heads in no tim.they grow very fast when fed and healthy.veryfast thats the problem people have they get so many heAds you pollute you tank just to feed them.i took one head of dying black coral to many colonies in no time at all
