Dendrophillia

Spot feed them with mysis shrimp, mine always go crazy when I toss some rods food in. Make sure your water params are spot on also, I don't think they're really fast growers but be patient and you should see some growth in no time.

I bought a 1 polyp Giant dendro. For the longest time it stayed that way. Then over a 4 week period it produced 11 new babies. Here is a pic right after it got the new babies, I had just fed mysis and 1 of the new ones grabbed a shrimp and swallowed it. It was so stretched out, you can see the shrimp through the dendro polyp!

Here is pic of my colony now, it's the one on the right. Sorry about the bluespot jawfish, he likes to "hog" the pic. His burrow is right below them.

I started with one polyp of Dendro (I don't know if it is small, regular or giant or if there is any difference) and with in two months it has developed an additional 5 heads. I do not go out of my to target feed it, however when I feed the fish the currant pushes food right to it. Also I have a very low fish load in that tank (180 gallons with 1 wrasse and three tangs) so it is over ran with pods of all types. I am sure it catches plenty of its own food as well.
