Does any one have any of these, or seen one for sale. I think I want one, but I would like to know whatg they go for. They look like sun polyps, only they are bigger, open during the day and do not need to be fed directly.

Any clues, Ideas, suggestions would be appreciated.

I am looking to getting some of these (will end up buying online if I had to guess). You stated that they don't need to be fed directly but from everything I have seen they should be fed but also get food from photosynthesis like other corals. I have found that prices vary tremendously based on size of heads and color. Good luck on your search!!

Well I reg feed my tank w cyclo, so I will feed it, it is just nice to know you do not have to target feed each polyp everyday for its survival. The prices do seem to vary but mostly stay over the $50 a polyp range, where are you prdering from online?? Thanks for the help, it is greatly needed.

they are easy to keep, just spot feed. I have one I got from CRF a few months back with 4 heads now it has 8. Lots of spot feeding.

If you HAVE TO spot feed then their prob a type of sun coral, dendros do have symbiotic zooxanthellae so they do not require the spot feeding sun corals need. Aside from that they are larger these are the two main reasons why they command a higher price.

Isnt that what they had in many of the tanks at the Miami seaquarium when the group went?? If not, they look very similar!!

they had those in sea in the city in orlando, if anyone goes to orlando check that store out.
