I noticed today a thin brown tenticle coming out of my clam it attached itself to a piece of rock for a while then retracted, then extended out again, like he's fishing or something? i've not seen this before can anyone tell me what it's doing?
the tube shaped part on the top, not the other opening that looks like a mouth. I really don't know clam anatomy sorry..its doing very well though, it has grown about 3/4 of an inch since I got it 2 months ago
