sorry another question but is it normal for the clams to g for about 5 seconds when the light go from actinic to daylight or from actinic to nothing??

if by "g" you mean "close", then yes, it's a reaction to sudden changes in the environment.

This is a very good indicateor of a healthy clam to.

that criteria alone is nowhere near enough to say whether or not a clam is healthy... but it is a good sign
