not a good idea. dips are not cure alls and in a lot of cases will do more harm then good

laf-reef, what happened with your derasa..?? did you do a FW dip..?? My Derasa looks a lot like yours and I'm about to do a FW dip this afternoon...

Jester - Yes I did a 20 minute FW dip and moved higher in the water column. Photo posted earlier in this thread. I'll post a current photo later today when the lights are on.

update - Top down pic 1 week and a day after fw dip. I relocated back to the sand bed on Sunday because the clam looked very unnatural high in the rocks.

glad to hear yours is doing well.. I did a 20 min FW dip on my derasa on saturday and still waiting for it to recover fully... hopefully it will...
