getting closer, and divers den finally has a squammy.

i have a tall tank and 250W 14K MH. the issue is that it's a full 38" from bulb to sand. i'd prefer them in the sand. i have other options, but they're going to end up on the bottom someday no mater what due to size. thoughts?

also, let clam attach to a piece of flat live rock before putting in the sand bed a good idea?

squamosa and other large clams actually won't attach to anything when they get larger, they rely on their weight to anchor themselves. That one is pretty low light, and I think it would be ok that far from the bulbs.
