Background:
20g QT tank. A flasher Wrasse, a Firefish, a Starry Bleny, a Goby, and a Royal Granma. They have been in the QT for almost 5 weeks now.
Feeding: Frozen Myses shrimp, LRS Reef food, and Reef Line frozen for herbivores. I soak the food in Vitality every few days or so. I feed twice a day.
Here is the treatments I've done so far:
1 week of rest and25% water change every other day.
5 Days Parazi Pro followed by water change and 2 days no medication.
5 Days Parazi Pro (Second round)
1 week with no medication, water change and carbon
3 days of ParaGuard. Dosed 2 cap full every day.
Today, the Flasher Wrasse has white area in the head between the eyes. It is wide and from eye to eye, and small round white spot on the tail. He swims aimlessly and he is not himself. He scratches his body once in a while. The other fishes also scratch their body once in a while. They are eating alright.
I've been trying identifying the disease, but I can't find very close description.
Is it fluke, velvet, ?
My other question is: If the fish have gone through 2 rounds of ParaziPro and 3 days of ParaGuard, why the disease is showing now?
Thanks,
