Just curious with the extreme modifications to color and now fin shape going on with some clowns, will "normal" fish recognize as conspecifics? If one had a pair of normal ocellaris would they attack one that was significantly different like one of the nearly white or all black varieties. 55 gallon or larger tank lets say.

if you mean by having a pair of standard ocy and then a pair of let's say extreme snowflakes or wyoming white's it will not work, they will still know.
