Desjardini Sailfin Tang needs a home.

I bought him when he was the size of a quarter from exotic aquarium in Sacramento. Now he is almost 4 inches and I think he needs more swimming room than I have.

He is healthy and eats everything. He has never shown any signs of ich or other parasites.

Free to a good home or if you want to trade some frags.

I probably should have caught him prior to saying he was available! Fast bugger!!

As far as what he is I am no expert but I bought him as a Desjardini. His juvenile colors seemed to match what liveaquaria had pictures of. Now that I've spent some time looking at more pictures online I am unsure of what he is!!

I'll go ahead and say that I have a free sailfin tang of some sort :)

We had a thread recently detailing fish capture techniques. You might give that a read.

My suggestion: drain the tank to the height of the fish above the sand, scoop up the fish, refill tank. It's surprisingly easy, fast, and low stress. If necessary, have a squirt bottle of reef water handy in case you wish to moisten anything during the process.
