Desjardini Sailfin Tang

This is in memory of my late Desjardini... missed him dearly with so much personality and what a magnificent creature. One thing keeping reef aquarium is it truly teaches me to appreciate God's creations.
My acrylic painting on wood panel of the fish:

One of my favorite fish. Mine is a ba$tard, however, and attempts to nail me with his tail when I get my arm too close. Does that count as having 'personality'? None of my previous ones did that.

Only reason I said with a french accent is because Desjardin is a french surname and I'm assuming the tang is named after the person who dicovered it.

Crimsoncoral, I had him in a 180, which now I realized it would have been too small in time anyways. But his demise was of disease along with other 90% of all my fish in a hospital tank (75G). I will be much more careful with my fish selection in quantity, size, and quality this time around.
Ca1ore, thank you for the compliment. I will be posting a few more as I did a series of all the reef fish (some I have kept, some I can only drool over)

I asked because I'm planning a 180 build... And just curious.

They are beautiful fish. Sorry for your loss.
I had one in a 100 before I realized it was too small.
I have lots of smaller fish, but a Desjardini will be the first new addition to my current 10' tank build.
