Detecting Mantis

At night I hear a click in the tank, like the button on the flourescent fixtures. Is this a mantis? How should I catch him? And if I get him would anyone want him? Thanks

I recently purchased a few new rocks and corals from my LFS and have clicking as well- I have a feeling it's a Mantis-
I have looked at night w/a red - looking for the reflection in his eyes, and during the day- he stays hidden very well! Only sign is from the clicks-

I took am wondering how I can get him to come out if I've never seen where he lives, and how I can catch him (alive).

ive read that if you take a little water bottle and cut the part where it curves to the top and then put it in (openning facing in) with a piece of food in there they can be caught

Can you explain this a little more? which part to you actually cut?
How do you take him out once he's in (w/out getting yourself hurt)?
