detritivour kits in canada?

i know that u can;t ship livestock across the boarder not sure if the same applies to live sand. Liveaquaria i know won;t ship their live sand. is there any online stores that sell recharge or detritivour kits?

no, i'm looking for a detritivour kit with bristle worms, amphipods. stuff that lives in the sand.

no lock so far, i wonder if i can find someone local that will sell me some live sand to kick start my sandbed. all the stores around here use crush coral

you can try www.saltwaterconnection.com . he has lots of stuff. Its where I shop for all my tank stuff. Plus its closer than jlaquatics, here in Winnipeg. So shipping may not be as bad.

They might give you some from a tank if you asked. Or sell some, I am not sure.

I dont think my tank which is only 2 mo. has a good enough base to help at the moment...

have u bought any live sand from them? does it have lots of critters in it?
