Developed a small leak

My 75 gallon has been running well for 7 months. I just notied a small leak in the upper front corner. 1 drop every 3-5 minutes. I tried to place some GE silicone one after I drained out about 2 inches. I let it cure for about 5 hours before I started the pumps again. Well, I notied another small leak/drops on the other side of the corner. I bought the tank used. I need some advise.
-Should I silicone the inside of the tank again?
-Is this the start of worse things to come?
I think the leak started because my canopy stuck to the top of the tank and I needed to more it.

How did you unstuck it? Forcefully?

Little lift with some effort. The canopy weights about 25-30 lbs. Not sure if this caused a seal to fail.

try using luke warm water next time
what do you have in it?

there are a couple 75's for sale on here (csea)
might be less difficult than trying to reseal

If you decide to give up on that leaky tank and go with a new (used) tank, let me know, if that leak is high enough I could turn that tank into a sump =)
