Devil's hand leather?

Need an ID and some advice on this guy. Picked it up yesterday, looks a bit ragged, but I'm hoping to get it back into good shape. Coloring is a nice bright green under the lights. Sorry for the blue shot, need to pick up a filter some time.

1. Is this a devils hand leather, or something else? Bought it as just a "leather".
2. It obviously has been laying with just one side up for a while, the underside looks pretty bleached out. Should I frag it into 2 pieces to I can get them to sit vertical, rather than horizonal?

Hard to tell, might be Sinularia or Nepthea.

If you wanted to frag it you could. Just use a sharp razor blade and make a quick, clean cut.

Looks like an angry green sinularia.
