Deworming leopard wrasses

I have three leopard wrasses. One I have put through tank transfer. I have had him about 1 1/2 months. I wish to deworm and Defluke him. I bought some prazipro yesterday. I intend to use it today. I thought I would use it at half strength. If all goes well, I will put in the other half strength tomorrow. I will remove carbon and place an air stone in the tank. I am only using half strength because I am told that wrasses do not do well with medications. Apparently they are very delicate. Does anyone have any comments or recommendations? I am only going to do the single wrasse that I have had for a while. If all goes well I will deworm the other to wrasses in a week or so, after they have settled down. All fish are eating well at this time. Frozen food. Also give them a live food concoction that is sold locally.

I've wanted a leopard but have been afraid to put one through my QT routine for this reason. I'll be watching to see how this goes. Good luck!

Use full dose. Treatment is only 24 hours then you can add carbon. 2nd treatment 7 days later

There is a dip method and a prolonged use instructions (24hrs) I would start with the 1 hr dip and if that goes well, do another treatment in 6 days using the prolonged use

I saw the dip method, but I thought that would only address flukes and not internal parasites. Am I mistaken?

Jduck....I was under The impression that wrasses, in general, and especially leopards, were very sensitive to prazipro, and many have died as a result of using it. Again, am I mistaken?

Internal worms depending on what and how bad they are might not be killed even with a prolonged dip. Most fish die from prazipro because they suffocate due to the lack on O2 in the water. Make sure to add a air stone or other means of adding O2 to the water (pump pointed at the surface)

Well I dosed the prazipro last evening. I took out carbon and added an air stone. I performed a 25% water change. I gave a half dose and observed for half an hour. Things seemed fine, so I dosed the second half. Wrasse still seemed fine.
Khan, this should give you encouragement! Will redose in a week and dose my other two leopards then.
