LOOKS LIKE COTTON, I TRIED TO TAKE HER OUT TWO WEEKS AGO AND REMOVE IT. I GOT IT OUT BUT THEN IT GREW BACK.

IT ON BOTH SIDE OF THE GILL NOW AND ALSO ON THE LEFT BODY UPPER RIGHT OF THE MIDDLE STRIP. LET ME KNOW WHAT IT IS AND THE TREATMENT THANKS

SHE IS A WILD CAUGHT AND BEEN SITTING FOR THREE WEEKS IN COPPER AT .25PPM

OTHERWISE EATING AND SEEMS NOT STRESS BY IT.
 
I've never seen anything like this in ornamentals. Do you have access to a microscope? If you can get that on a slide and see big cells full of bubbles you might be dealing with a virus. In this case I have no other suggestion than maintain good nutrition and water quality. If you seen sporazoans (may need a stain) or moving ciliates, then that's maybe fibrotic tissue built up from irritation from these protazoan parasites. As always, I default to bacterial infection and say shotgun a broad spectrum antibiotic. That may be a local manifestation of a bacteria like columnaris, though I don't know if columnaris is common in salt water.

I have had success with Seachem's Paraguard as a broad treatment. It's difficult to see with the fish out of the water, but looks like maybe lymphocytsis. Any pictures in water?

Hard to say.
