Diagonal line in Graph?

I've been observing the status of outlets listed on graph display.Lets me know if things are happening when they are suppose to or not.
Most outlets are showing either on or off.
How ever, sometimes the signal is a gradual (diagonal line)on to off.Looks like the state of item is changing gradually over time, not just on/off.
I think this condition is happening only w/ floats switches.
Shouldn't a float switch either be ON or OFF,not in between?

That is some sort of graphing error, I think this indicates missing data. There is no in-between for outlets. They are either ON or OFF.

Are you sure it's a switch? Switches are not outlets and their status is not captured in the outlet log to be graphed. If you've defined virtual outlets to represent your switches then that's different. But Todd is right - they're binary - either on or off.

Can you post a picture of what you're talking about?

Sorry if images are bad-
Float1,Float2,and Float3 represent switch 1,2,3.
Variable ports were vacant so I used them to represent floats. Not being referred to in any other outlet programs.

That could be the issue. Create several virtual outlets and copy paste the code into those instead of using the variable speed ports. The VSPs are intended to control powerheads or dim lights so they create a 0-10V signal. Read the New Users Guide stickied at the top of the forum for info on virtual outlets if you are not familiar with them.
