HI Roger:
I'm using a pair of 6100's with a 7095 controller in my new tank (40x40x22), but they're just a bit too powerful for my DSB. I've been playing with the placements on the magnet mounts, but they're still kicking up the sand in a few places where I don't want them too. I'm running Interval 1 with the power settings at minimum, alternating 12 hour on/off.
Question for you,, before I swap these for a pair of 6000's or gut it out for the controllable Nano Streams later in the year:
Does turning down the driver setting from "maximum" effect the maximum output of the pump? In other words, with the driver turned down towards "minimum", will this result in a lower flow level from the pump? Perhaps this might do the trick? Or, is there a downsideto this? Am I mistaken about what the driver adjustment does?
Please advise.
Thanks!
Scott
