diamond goby died

had my diamond goby for almost a year. The other day, I saw him swallow a whole frozen bloodworm cube. Today he was a no show during feeding and later I found him dead. I think he literally ate himself to death (maybe had a brain freeze). He was a good fish.

Yep, I never put food in the tank while still frozen... it just takes a little bit to thaw it out and its safer for the fish.

yeah I have a plastic cup that I put it in and stir in some tank water until it's all thawed out

I used to thaw before serving until I read this article that says the proper way to feed frozen cubes is to just pop it into the tank.

I take a cube and stick it in the power head and let it blow around.

You should probably go read someone else's article stating to thaw the food first so your fish dont die
