Diamond Goby question

I have had an Orange Spot Diamond Goby for approximately 3 months, he always eats frozen foods, some red seaweed, and R.O.E. along with his normal everyday diet of sand sifting. I noticed this yesterday the stomach area just behind the head on the under belly side is caved in....Normal or something wrong? He eats well and is acting normally just has the caved in stomach.

Thanks for any advice.

Make sure he is getting enough to eat, the sand sifting may provide very little food once he cleans it out. I have had several and sometimes they get out competed for since they wait until the food floats down to their level so feed a bit sloppily. If you are sure he is getting lots of food look into curing intestinal parasites/worms...

A general rule with sifters is if they stop sifting they are dead. Add some sinking small pellets to the food mix for it.

+1 for internal parasites and to the pellets... they, and other sifters, are very commonly hosts to the internals and needs be kept over fed and quarantined.

to clarify "over fed"... just until treatments are over.

best of luck to you and your fish.
