so since haveing a gobby again i noticed my glass gets diatoms on it way faster than normal has anyone else experianced this and know what its from

diatoms thrive on silicates. Do you use RO and/or DI?
Know... I want to know about your Ephippium. (Saddleback Butterfly).
Is it in a reef aquarium? How long have you had it... what does it bother? (if anything)

yes i use ro di water with new filters about 3 months ago. i use gfo also and am updating my sump to a 40 breeder so i can have a cheato area. the saddle back i have had for about a year and yes its in my reef aquarium. he has not bothered any coral he does spend his day nipping at the rock work. no problems so far really good looking fish
