Diamond Spotted Goby Stopped Eating =(

Well my Diamond Spotted Goby stopped eating and is close to dieing... Any ideas why he stopped doing his fishy stuff?

I have been trying to feed him in his house but he has stopped shifting the sand. I put brine/mysis shrimp just under the sand for him. Plus even when I hold food up to his face he nips once at the food and does not get more.

I love these types of Gobies...

Maybe water parameters. But I've read/heard that they don't do well long term unless they have LOTS of established live sand to feed from.

I have heard from multiple LFS that they will not thrive unless in a large established tank. Maybe wait unitl your tank is older or you upgrade
