I've had a couple go through QT great but not able to adjust to life in a tank full of wrasses. Very skiddish fish for me, once spooked they don't seem to recover from it.
I did originally, but haven't ordered one in this batch.
I'm going out of town soon and don't want to put a new wrasse in qt while gone. I have 4 in there now that are all doing great and won't be putting them in my DT till I can comeback and observe in the acc box first.
So I'll have to pass for now.
Well happy to report that first round of prazi is going very well. He didn't miss a beat when I introduced prazi. Is even out and about more often so much that when I approach the tank he no longer dives into pvc.
Will probably do another round after a week or so Without it.
I decided to try cupramine. The wrasse is in a 30 gal QT. I started with a very low first dose. I put 10 drops in. He immediately went to hide behind a PVC pipe and started breathing heavy. So, 33% WC and some carbon later, I will be trying hyposalinity.
Yea I have had the same experience before, so now only treat with prazi and observe...haven't had any problems as of yet....good luck with the labouti.
