Diamond watchman goby missing

hey guys i got a diamond watchman goby (Valencienna puellaris) yesterday and he was about 3inches big. he was doing well last night but this morning i couldnt find him anywhere. i checked on the floor and behind the tank and its not there. do they tend to hide or something? like under rocks? the only other fish i have in the tank is a maroon clown. any ideas?

Probably hiding, look around the rocks and under anywhere it could dig.

thanks. i think i saw it but im not sure. im sick so i dont if my mind is playing tricks on me haha..but yeah i found some "tunnels" under some live rock. but i got another question, are these guys prone to jumping? ive heard some gobies tend to jump or are blennys more likely to jump?

if you have an over flow make sure its well covered... i lost mine recenetly ended up dying the in sump... it got past 2 different blockages of eggcrate but couldnt get past the third or it would have been in water again... so yeah they do jump
