This is a Chalice Coral I believe. It is green with Pink Mouths. Also considered an Oxypora. It is a small frag.

Yes - Alot of photos. I have so many more I didnt post. :) I took 2gb worth of photos using my friends fancy camera.

A big goal of my thread is to track the progress and growth of corals as time elapses. I also want my friends and family to have a place to check things out as they live far away.... they are also too lazy to post responses ;)

I just got a new camera the other day and I love it. Yes, they're expensive, but the quality is fantastic, and at least I can get shots of the fish and corals in the back of the tank.

You'll be amazed at the progression pictures. You don't realize how things change until you look at older pictures. Then it hits you and you're so happy you have all of them. I love to look at all the pictures. Besides their beauty, it gives me ideas of what I want to get and what not to get.

Most definitely.

I am always amazed at some of the photos people take. They just bring out the most amazing colors! It is a work of art each photo.

Also - had a very cool weekend. Anthony Calfo came to Boston to speek at the Boston reef society meeting. Very cool coral proagation talk.

I have enjoyed reading and learning from your experience. If you are looking for a great camera at an affordable price check out the Olympus sp-350 its and excellent buy in a 8mp camera. It has a super macro mode as well as a behind glass mode that takes excellent reef pictures. I bought mine at dell.com of all places and had it in my hands in 4 days for $300.00. I would definately recommend checking it out.

I will borrow my friends good camera again and update. I ended up giving up on the BTA :( I have also been planning my new 12g aquapod :)

I will post again this week with more pics!
