Diatoms Still A Problem

I'm back agaian still with the same problem and I still can't get rid of my diatoms problem, i've removed my bioballs this last week and am hopping this is going to help, but at he minute it seems to be getting worse. If i can't get it to clear up in the next two months i'm going to sell the lot. I really don't want to cause i love my reef but it is so depressing coming home from work every day to see a tank full of brown slime..... If any one has had a servere case like this or any one knows anything about it plese help me as i'm at the end of my tether.....

I had issues w/ diatoms for about 2 months in my tank. It had been going for about 7 months when i got hit. i slowly removed my bio balls. About 1/3 every 4 days. I increased my water circulation by a lot. I bought some 400GPH power heads, did a few 20% water changes and within a couple weeks it’s gone down quite a bit. I also removed the sponge before my pump and just change the filter media more often. It seems to be working. Some of it still remains but I have definitely turned the tides on it. No pun intended. it took about 2 months from beginning to almost the end.
