It's not right Mike, but you know, that's the stuff those nasty threads about tank crashes are made of...

Has anyone joined or listened to any of the pod casts from TalkingReef.Com ? Rob just crashed his multi tank system. Looks like he did it using FW exit. Sounds like he closed down (shut off the flow) to 1/3 of the system, treated 2/3's (multi tank system) with the FWE, then treated with Carbon overnight... then... before leaving town the next day, only for a day, opened the valve to the rest of the system, thinking that the FWE was gone. It wasnt. The remaining FWE attacked the FWs in the display tank, turned toxic and started killing stock. When he got home, he turned on the lights... the corals started to react to the lights and came out, starting a system wide tissue necrosis... I guess it's a near total loss. Very sad.

Gooch! I can have your neighbor stop watching for you... I thought you moved... (just kidding) It's nice to see your still around. How's the tank comming... and what else is there to talk about on the news besides "buy a reef tank, it'll do you good..."

Still here. I don't post much anymore. Been either real busy or dealing with a POS computer. It's also hunting season.

The news story was about supply and demand during X-mas time. First time I go X-mas shopping in five years and I make the news....lol.


The tank is umm, still empty. I just kinda let everything go. I needed snails about six months ago. Still havn't gotten them. I should just shut my system down before I kill everything. Start up again when I have the time. Just bored with the hobby right now. To busy with other things all the time.
