Did you add extra sand?

I have 1/2 of my package for my 125g. My sandbed is about 3-4" deep maybe. Should I add some more to it?? Did you add extra? What would be the benefits of leaving it where it is and adding to it?

I have part 1 of my package as well for my 55G and I don't think I have over 1 inch how much sand should there ?

Unless you are purposely running a deep sand bed tank over 6" or more, I would not add any more sand and may even remove a bit.
